The caves detailed in the picture above can be found on the border of the Golden Caves property.
Caves are dotted around the New Zealand, usually where there is underlying limestone or marble. In the South Island you will find caves in North-West Nelson–West Coast.
We estimate the lenght of the caves to be 350m. FIrst exploration - for as far as we know - was done by the Nelson Speleological Group In 1960.
At the moment we don't have much more information available. However, as new owners of this property we will investigate further over the next coming months and will add our findings to this page.
