A spirit of adventure—and the dream of a new way of life—led us across Cook Strait to the breathtaking South Island. Our journey brought us to Takaka, in the heart of Golden Bay, where we discovered a hidden rural gem nestled between the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.
What was once a deer farm has been transformed into a thriving, diverse menagerie. Today, our farm is home to alpacas, Murray Grey cattle, Wiltshire sheep, Wessex Saddleback pigs, free-range chickens, ducks, turkeys, and our much-loved house cow.
